Who are we?

a²om (pronounced atom) is a software education company specialising in driver training.  Our highly interactive e-learning programmes support novice, fleet and offender driver training. 

Why do we do it?

19 out of 20 road crashes are influenced by attitude and behaviour (showing off, poor hazard detection, distraction, excitement seeking etc) rather than any lack of vehicle handling skills.

1 in 5 young drivers will have a crash in their first year of driving.  The frontal lobe of the teenage brain, responsible for decision making and anticipating danger, does not fully develop until around the age of 25.

What we do?

The good news is that these dangers to young drivers can be addressed by our products which are the most innovative and modern supplement to learning to drive available anywhere. 

The essential basics: a²om highway and a²om mind

a²om highway is a fully interactive, online learning environment that will develop knowledge and challenge attitudes in relation to driver behaviour. It will make the theory of driving fun, modern and stimulating.

a²om mind is designed to accelerate executive brain function development and the key cognitive skills in driving. a²om mind also includes mock DVA theory and hazard perception tests to supplement the answers you may give to the following five modules; so there is no need to buy any further driver training books/guides.
